Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1

• Check-in to hotel and take rest

• Free time Leisure

 

Day 2

• Hotel pick up in Colombo

• Visit the famous Sri Kaileswaram Hindu Temple and the beautiful church

• Proceed to the city's most famous Galle Face area and its luxurious surroundings

• Visit Town Hall, Viharamahadevi Park and Independence Square

• Break for lunch at a local restaurant

• Visit the famous Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple

• Make a stop at the floating markets in Pettah District, Colombo’s most important bazaar district

• Drop off at hotel

 

Day 3

• 5:00-5:45 hotel pick up

• Arrive in Kandy and discover the majestic city with your driver guide

• Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and World Buddhism Museum

• Proceed to the Udawattakele Forest Reserve for a short nature hike

• Visit the Gem Museum and Lapidary

• Break for lunch at a local restaurant

• After lunch, proceed to the beautiful Royal Botanical Garden

• Visit to the Tea Factory at Giragama Estate and a spice garden in Mawanella on your way back to Colombo

• 22:00 approx. drop off at hotel

 

Day 4

• Hotel pick up

• Time:

• 05:00-05:45

• The itinerary sequence may change depending on the pick up location

• Arrive at the beautiful and majestic Kalutara Bodhiya Buddhist temple

• Time:

• 07:30

• Quick visit to one of Sri lanka’s most beautiful beaches - Beruwala Beach, and relish some nice refreshments

• Time:

• 08:00

• Boat ride on Balapitiya River and enjoy fantastic views and see rare species of birds and baby crocodiles

• Time:

• 09:00

• Get off at the island for a short fish therapy session and a visit at the Cinnamon Island

• Proceed to Kosgoda to visit the Turtle hatchery and witness nature’s magnificent creations. Head to Ambalangoda where you will be taken to an interesting tour of mask making factory

• Time:

• 11:30

• Stop at a local restaurant for lunch

• Time:

• 13:00

• Head to Hikkaduwa Beach, one of Sri Lanka’s pristine beaches, and relax. Enjoy a quick swim or try snorkeling (at your own expense)

• Time:

• 14:00

• Arrive at the city of Galle and explore the beautiful 300-year old Dutch fortress standing tall in the center of the city, as well as the other Dutch-style buildings in the old town

• Time:

• 16:00

• Head back towards the city of Colombo

• Time:

• 18:00

• Drop off at your respective hotels

• Time:

• 20:30

 

Day 5

Nuwara Eliya 2 Day Tour from Colombo   (Optional if pax need 2 days tour at extra cost)

Take flight from Colombo airport.
